So my 10 y/o son was holding my snake today and my son says "He is exploring my holes (pauses) between my fingers." It took every ounce of self control to not burst out laughing and respond with a whitty responce. So I figured I would share with all of you to enjoy. Merry late Christmas. 🤣

Finally done my first bioactive vivarium with a custom background that I made. Now it just needs the clean-up crew before I add the Emerald Tree Skinks.
Most commonly the word "bioactive" is used to describe terrariums and vivariums that include natural substrate and a clean up crew. In r/bioactive we want to use the broader idea of setting up any sort of enclosure in order to mimic the animal's natural environment. Pics, videos, questions and discussion on any aspect of a bioactive enclosure are all welcome here.
I was holding my little guy Styx today and when I went to put him away he curled up like this for about 30 minutes. Even when I brought him back to his vivarium he slithered closer to my hand and was looking for head scratches the whole time. Anyone else have this happen? Or am I just lucky?

Styx had his first shed since I brought him home. It was mostly complete, just two tiny spots that didn't completely come off. Also the head portion was torn to shreds so I wasn't sure if his head had any left on it. I checked him over and it doesn't look like there is any stuck on his head.

I've been thinking about getting a hammock for my noodle but I'm debating whether or not it would be worth it, or if he would even use it. So my question is, do corns like hammocks and if a corn tends to hide more, would it even use the hammock?
