I found and collected some Cotinus obovatus (american smoketree) seeds. I've read that they are hard to germinate but I love a challenge! I want to plant them everywhere.

The Dioscoreas right now. Elephantipea, discolor and a small mexicana. The discolor in center isn't a caudiciform but grows from tubers and goes dormant in the winter.

My potted Agave Americana in zone 7a southern plains right now. 12F/-11C tonight. All of my other plants are in my greenhouse or in the house under grow lights for the winter. This one is just too big to move now so it goes into survival mode at these temps. More info in the comments.

9'x13' under construction with insulated mini greenhouse inside it. Maintaining 23°F temperature gain at night in the mini greenhouse currently with C9 x-mas lights and a small crockpot here in 7b.
